How to set up your Alexa account ?

Technology is controlling the world and one such technology is Artificial intelligence. Now we can see AI-based digital products in every house. There's no lack of digital assistants like- Siri, Cortana, Bixby, Google Assistant, etc. But users choose Alexa. A question must arise in your mind that why Alexa is the top preference of customers?

Is it because of its amazing technology and performance?

Amazon Echo is a standalone speaker that needs nothing more than a power connection.

This blog is all about how to set up our Alexa account. The first step is to install the Amazon Alexa App on your device. You can get it free on iOS, Android, or Fire OS. You just need an Amazon account to continue using it and Amazon Prime.

Once you sign in to the app you are good to go to the second step.

The Second Step is to Pick a device to set up Alexa.

a) Click on the hamburger menu on the lower right and then select the 'Add a device' option present at the top left.

b) Here select the device you want to connect to Alexa. You can connect your smart light, switchboard, fans, and any other AI-based digital products that work on this setup. Connecting the Echo device is preferable.

c) Once Clicked you will get a list of all the devices present there to connect. Select your device.

Now you might be thinking how do we get to know whether our device is connected or not. Once you enter set up mode orange light will glow in echo. If you do not see orange light, then press and hold the Action button for 5 seconds. Eventually, Alexa will perk up and tell " Now in setup mode ".

Congratulations your Alexa account has been set up for free and your device has been successfully connected. Amazon Alexa needs only an Amazon account and not Amazon Prime, so it's completely free to set up.

Ramanujans and Hardy Partition Function

Hello Aliens, This blog is about the very famous Partition theory of numbers by Srinivasa Ramanajun and GH hardy.  The theory of partitions of numbers is an interesting branch of number theory. The concept of partitions was given by Leonard Euler in the 18th century. After Euler though, the theory of partition had been studied and discussed by many other prominent mathematicians like Gauss, Jacobi, Schur, McMahon, and Andrews, etc. but the joint work of Ramanujan with Prof. G.H. Hardy made a revolutionary change in the field of partition theory of numbers. Ramanujan and Hardy invented the circle method which gave the first approximations of the partition of numbers beyond 200. A partition of a positive integer ‘ n’  is a non-increasing sequence of positive integers, called parts, whose sum equals  n . In simpler words, it means the number of ways in which a given number can be expressed as a sum of positive integers.  For example, p(4) = 5, i.e. there are fiv...

Will Raj Shamani read this ?

"  You know, I was having my lunch when I saw a message with your Instagram profile linked to it. It said you are looking for someone easy to talk to and caring person.  Oh sorry, It wasn't your message. She sent the message at the same time :)  So, you are looking for someone to write creative copies for your LinkedIn posts and Twitter threads. Or to be precise, you are looking for a junior copywriter. So, I ignored that message and continued chatting with her till I finished my lunch. After an hour, I realized I am yet to realize what's more important to me. So, I opened up my mail and started writing this for you. The mail has a text written in bold that said: "Write three reasons why he should hire you". To be honest, I think three reasons are either too much or too little to judge someone. But still, I want to be hired so I think I have to write about that.  But before telling my qualities, I need to find one for myself.  Am I creative?  Am I good at c...

I ruined an opportunity myself!

I ruined a fantastic opportunity myself. Two days back, I got a chance to interview with a US-based AI company for their content and copywriting work. I filled out the form, and a DM dropped in my LinkedIn to fix a date for an interview. The first round went well, but where the problem happens? After the first interview round, she asked me to send my resume and portfolio along with an assignment. And yes, even if I have worked with multiple clients from India and abroad, the assignment I sent to her was not at par. I knew it, but I still sent it because I had already delayed it to 28 hours. The moment I sent the mail, she immediately opened the doc. I was still making some edits on it. (first mistake) Second, she had shared the doc with other company members too, and they saw the work that I didn't like much. I knew I had wasted this. Within two minutes, I got the mail and texted she'll get back to me. I knew what she meant :) But what exactly happened because? Of which I lose ...
