Talking to Co-Founder of Personal Branding Agency

Here's what I learned from my recent call with a founder of a Personal branding agency:

📌 Share about your expertise instead of sharing content irrelevant to your work. People share memes, some funny stuff, and hop with the latest trends. Please do not do it unless it helps your business or helps you get leads.

📌 Share learnings, share experiences, and show the stuff similar to what you will be writing for clients. That's very, very important. Your clients will be attracted to you more only if you have a better social presence.

📌 Your experience doesn't matter if you are open to learning new things. You do not need to show it in public unless necessary. Show what your clients want to see. Show what helps your business. Show what enables you to get leads. (Not always, but many times)

📌 Do not stop cold mailing even if you are getting clients on board. Always connect with people anyway.

📌 Try out different strategies related to content growth and expansion of your crew. Do not limit yourself due to a lack of skilled people in your team. Instead, build a pool of super-skilled people and grow with your company.

📌 Do not compromise on the client's work. I mean, Of course :)

Ramanujans and Hardy Partition Function

Hello Aliens, This blog is about the very famous Partition theory of numbers by Srinivasa Ramanajun and GH hardy.  The theory of partitions of numbers is an interesting branch of number theory. The concept of partitions was given by Leonard Euler in the 18th century. After Euler though, the theory of partition had been studied and discussed by many other prominent mathematicians like Gauss, Jacobi, Schur, McMahon, and Andrews, etc. but the joint work of Ramanujan with Prof. G.H. Hardy made a revolutionary change in the field of partition theory of numbers. Ramanujan and Hardy invented the circle method which gave the first approximations of the partition of numbers beyond 200. A partition of a positive integer ‘ n’  is a non-increasing sequence of positive integers, called parts, whose sum equals  n . In simpler words, it means the number of ways in which a given number can be expressed as a sum of positive integers.  For example, p(4) = 5, i.e. there are fiv...

I ruined an opportunity myself!

I ruined a fantastic opportunity myself. Two days back, I got a chance to interview with a US-based AI company for their content and copywriting work. I filled out the form, and a DM dropped in my LinkedIn to fix a date for an interview. The first round went well, but where the problem happens? After the first interview round, she asked me to send my resume and portfolio along with an assignment. And yes, even if I have worked with multiple clients from India and abroad, the assignment I sent to her was not at par. I knew it, but I still sent it because I had already delayed it to 28 hours. The moment I sent the mail, she immediately opened the doc. I was still making some edits on it. (first mistake) Second, she had shared the doc with other company members too, and they saw the work that I didn't like much. I knew I had wasted this. Within two minutes, I got the mail and texted she'll get back to me. I knew what she meant :) But what exactly happened because? Of which I lose ...

The 10 PM BLOG !

Yet another normal day passed in my life, and I again felt like I did nothing special today than repeating daily tasks. It's 10 PM now. One thing that I am doing differently today is finally I am writing this after weeks of sleepless nights.  Every night I sit with my laptop, screen light shining in my eyes. I keep looking at a blank page and thinking of writing but end up scrolling my phone or playing chess or chatting with someone. All of a sudden! a question struck my mind. What will happen after a year? What would happen when I will graduate?  What will I do after graduation?  How am I going to fulfill my needs?  How am I going to support my family? How am I going to earn money? and most importantly what I am doing now?  Am I doing the right thing? I literally travel through the whole world of procrastination. And finally, I go to sleep with loads of thoughts in my mind. I realize daily that I am doing wrong. But end up doing the same thing the next day....
